Terri and David Marlow celebrates the 11th Justo Lamas Concert April 17, 2009
This past April 3, 2009 Justo Lamas performed his 11th concert at Parkersburg High School. Mrs. Marlow was one of the first teachers to host a Justo Concert. She and her husband David believed in the project that started in 1998. Mrs. Marlow has been involved with Justo in several ways. She has recommended several songs to Justo and developed the lessons in the Teachers Discovery DVD: Canta con Justo. The Marlows have been very kind with Justo and the relationship has grown with the years.

10th Anniversary at Northridge High School April 16, 2009
Dayton, OH April 16, 2009. Northridge High School celebrated 10 years of successful Justo Lamas Concerts. Mr. Ken Ridenour, the Spanish teacher, began this road back in 1999 when Justo Lamas was doing the first steps of his career in the United States. Mr. Ridenour ran the sound system the first time Justo performed at Northridge HS and he did it pretty well. Ten years later Mr. Ridenour is proud to celebrate this anniversary of continued success of mutual cooperation in the promotion of the Spanish language.

Spanish flavor brought to Ridgewood, OH November 26, 2008
WEST LAFAYETTE Screaming teens, loud music, concert T-shirts, autographs and meeting the singer sounds like a typical rock concert to most. Except this one was in the Ridgewood High School auditorium and in Spanish.

La Asociacin de Lenguas Extranjeras de Nueva York lo premi por las tareas realizadas en distintos establecimientos educativos difundiendo su idioma y la cultura de su origen a travs de las artes. Est radicado en los Estados Unidos desde 1996, pas en el que se lo considera uno de los latinos con mayor influencia sobre sus jvenes.

Spanish Students Attend Justo Lamas Concert October 27, 2008
Tuesday, October 27, the Spanish II and III students from Meridian High School as well as the Spanish II and III students from Deshler boarded buses to travel to Waverly High School to take part in the Justo Lamas concert. Thirty-eight students, their teacher (Mary Jo Hofts) and the paraprofessional from Meridian (Lori Pohlmann), as well as the two bus drivers rocked, danced, and sang along with this energetic Argentinian singer who entertained the packed auditorium with traditional Spanish songs such as De Colores, Eres T, Guantanamera, and La Bamba as well as some of his own meaningful songs: Siempre Por Siempre, Amor Real, and Baila Conmigo. Bidi bidi bom bom was a definite favorite!

Requirements:

An auditorium-theater-gymnasium, The Principal's approval, Select a date and time.

JLG Concerts will send CDs and DVDs along with a flyer promoting the concert to all schools in the area. (The concert may also be for one school only).
JLG Concerts charges a very accessible fee for each student. There are no other expenses for the host school.
JLG Concerts does all the work, promoting the concert, taking reservations and collecting the schools' payments.
We provide the opportunity for the host school to raise funds with the concert. Upon request.
We offer scholarships to those students who can not pay.
We present our program during school hours.

JLG Concerts provides a CD and a DVD with the songs of the concert, activities, Karaoke Online and other free resources so that teachers may prepare their students.
The students of the host school have the opportunity to choreograph a dance with Justo Lamas during the concert.
If a student of the host school would like to sing on stage with Justo Lamas, this can be arranged. He or she should learn a song in the weeks previous to the concert. (Consult with JLG Concerts about the song for dancing and singing on stage)

Our program lasts two hours: one-and-a-half of concert time and 30 to 45 minutes after the show for autographs, available souvenirs, pictures, etc.
The students will receive a motivating message that will touch their lives positively.
Multimedia show with the lyrics of the songs.
Interaction between our artist and the public: the students actively participate with the concert at every moment.
During the show between each song there will be prizes, surprises, linguistic competition, voice competition, Karaoke, tounge-twisters, etc.
